Our own brilliant bubbabod suggested that we have a place to discuss non-LBH topics that we also enjoy. Consider this your breakroom where you can discuss whatever you like without me whining. I only ask that you be considerate of others and keep it clean.
Enjoy! Diane

That's the first time I've ever seen the words brilliant and bubbabod in the same sentence. Just kidding Frank! ;D

My parents were killed by a campfire. I find this section to be quite offensive.

I only ask that you be considerate of others and keep it clean. Enjoy! Diane Fred, that means you can't leave the empty Scotch bottles lying around! Dammit, I just realized I can't leave the empty beer bottles lying around either! Billy

My parents were killed by a campfire. I find this section to be quite offensive. Living up to your name, I see . . . . Since girls can't have man crushes, you aren't allowed to whine! Hey, guys, this is the board where you can talk baseball all day long! Start a baseball thread. Knock yourselves out! Leave the Intro threads for the newbies. (My stars, do I need to start another one?)

OOOHHHHHH -- I just realized I broke my own rule against chastising anyone. Sorry, Crab! I'll slink away now . . . . (I still want to join your club.)

El Crab, I'm sorry to hear about your deceased parents. I guess the real tragedy is you were conceived before their untimely deaths. PS: For those who don't personally know El Crab and me, don't take any of this literally.

Speaking of baseball, the time is nearing for Roger Clemens to decide if and where he'll play. As a native Texan, I'd love to see him return to the Astros or retire. But I think if I was Roger, if you look at the Yankees (the baseball team; not the one that denied us southerners our states' rights) the Yankees are in dire need of good pitching. I wouldn't be surprised to see The Boss open up the checkbook even wider to lure Clemens back. If he does come back and it is not with the Astros, I'd like to see him with the Yankees rather than the hated Red Sox. That's the brilliant two cents from bubbabod. Oops, there's "brilliant" and "bubbabod" in the same sentence. Again.

Who the heck are the Sabres?

Who the heck are the Sabres? Um, the Buffalo Sabres? AKA my favorite hockey team. They are currently tied 1-1, heading back to Buffalo. If they win this series, they'll go to the Stanley Cup Finals against probably the 8th seed, who is up 3-0 in their series. Go Sabres! And as for my Dodgers, they have won 6 in a row and 14 out of 17, they are tied for 1st now. Nomar is the only regular 1st baseman to not have made an error, and he's only hitting .370, with 5 HRs and 30 RBI in 28 games. Any chance the Dodgers sudden resurgence has anything to do with Garciaparra getting in the lineup? Go Dodgers!

Crab--
At least you had parents! And the Sabres? Hockey? Are you for real? Hockey? Who cares!? But I do have a question for hockey fans: how long is their off-season going to be this year? 15 or 20 minutes?
As for the scotch bottles, only the Johnny Walker Black ones are mine, Billy. And if you are going to drink beer, at least make it a micro-brew. None of the Bud-lite or Miller-lite liquid, please.
Diane--
Can we talk about girls? That's a subject that is very mysterious to me. You talk about the Custer battle being a problem to figure out!!
Best wishes, Panzerblitz Fritz.

... the 8th seed, who is up 3-0 in their series 8th seed? What kind of "seed" is that? Pansies or buttercups? Best wishes, Fred.

And the Sabres? Hockey? Are you for real? Hockey? Who cares!? I don't post here anymore. Last time around I was extremely disappointed with many of the views here, such as one thread where many of you were okay with Hardorff's unjust editing of his Crazy Horse book. Yeah, yeah, yeah, if you still don't get, your problem. But now this slag against hockey. Fred, there is only one sport. It's name is hockey. Hockey fans know what I mean.

historynut1876--
First of all, I agree w/ you about the Hardorff business, so your loss to this Website is extremely unfortunate. You had/ have very good views & your opinions are important, certainly to me.
As for hookey, er... hockey... Ah-h-a-a-r-r-r-g-g!
I am serious about your views, however. You were one of the best.
Best wishes, Fred.
