How to get superglue out of Italian virgin wool? Easy. I go shopping for a replacement! That is why the Good Lord invented credit cards, right?

Okay, this is where we separate the men from the boys. Outside of Custer [Custer being representative of my interest in the nineteenth century American west], Randy Rhoads changed my life. I don't listen to music like I used to - I hate nu-metal - but heavy metal remains a big part of my life. If it has heavy, melodic guitar, I love it. Whether it be instrumental (Satriani, Jason Becker, Vinnie Moore, Malmsteen, Michael Schenker, to name a few) to bands such as Dokken [mostly the Lynch years, but Reb was cool, too], older Van Halen, early Queensryche, Shotgun Messiah, Lillian Axe and even some new bands, Symphony X popping into mind. I'm an Yngwie enthusiast as well. You can't go wrong with either Malmsteen or Vai. I'm a bit reluctant to say this but I'm also a diehard KISS fan.

However, Vinnie was best with Mark Slaughter. But overall, I'm not the biggest Kiss fan. If it wasn't for the gimmick, which also helped sell the merchandise, they wouldn't have lasted this long.

Frehley is the man. Listen to quite a bit of 80s stuff -- Krokus, Tesla, Def Leppard, etc. Also Faster Pussycat and the early Ozzy solo stuff -- the guitar riff on Crazy Train is hard to beat. Oh, and throw a little AC/DC into the mix.

Fred, nice one - like one of the sixteen vestal virgins, who were leaving for the coast......... Diane - Yeah, I agree - although patching on such a suit would never be good enough.....It's ruined, I know! But, if this was 1968, I might just about get away with your idea of a daisy motif patched over it! And as for you, Leyton - I have a wife who views the purpose of credit cards in a similar way to you! Regards to all, GAC
