Scarface, love the pic., but I am partial. Army Air Corps, part of the parentage. Regards, Tom I wish it was bigger so I could make out what the planes are. Beth B-17 and a 109. Love the 17; second only to my love of the Spitfire.

Oh the wonderful times of taking my folks old time 78's off the hi fi to play my Davey, Davey Crockett 45 and then late the liverpool lads etc. Wish I had kept all of those records, 331/3's 45's and 78's. Regards Dave

It is an F model B17, and the fighter looks like an FW190. The fighter has a radial engine. The BF109 had an in line. Looking at the camouflage on the 17 it dates the depiction from late 42 to mid 43. After mid 43 all the 17's were delivered naked.

I have always love the sound of radial engines but man, rotary engines are also so cool. When Steve and I lived in Schenectay in the late '80's we wen to Old Rhinebeck Aerodrome. A fun way to spend a day. Since that day though I have always had a soft spot in my heart for the Albatros D.Va. Beth
