Thanks, Larry. I, for one, needed that!! Hey Jude was one of my favorites, and especially since one of my significant others was so named. Brings back sweet [for the most part] memories.

I loved that one, too. Gene Vincent was a BAAAAAD BOOOY in those days, and certainly looked the part. I didn't check out the clip you linked, 'cause I can only tale so much nostalgia in a day, otherwise I get all choked up. Seriously.
One of the perils of growing older and still being able to remember the people and events that go along with the old music, and having been a performer [?!?!?] while at high school in the 50s - there are just so many songs, and so many memories that it's hard to get away from feeling maudlin all the time. Lost youth........................"The old keep gettin' older, and the young must do the same" as Kristofferson wrote.
