I found this of interest concerning a female orderly in the 7th. Could this be what lusty got so worked up over. This from treasuredude's soldiers buried in SD website: "Although she(Rose Courtney) was not with the 7th Cav., at the time of the Battle of the LBH, Rose was part of it." She's listed as Lt. Gorge Wallace's 'servant." Actually, I didn't know any of the other officers, other than Custer, had a female servant, but then again I never gave it much thought. She's buried at Ft. Meade. Did treasuredude mention her? OK TD, are you part of the cover up? pie.midco.net/treasuredude/CourtneyTD.jpg

Melani- You still can. When has historical accuracy and a LBH screenplay ever met... jimc p.s. - nice to see another bay area soul here Well, I was sort of aspiring to a higher standard than Hollywood! Not that that would be very hard... If you're in the Bay Area, come see us at San Francisco Maritime. I do Living History there on the second Saturday of every month, when I'm not hanging around LBH message boards. hydestreetlivinghistory.org/
