hello all does anybody out there-especially you ledger art experts-have any photos/info on any drawings by Sinte/Richard Tail  He did some drawings for Rudolf Cronau, Rudolf though Sinte's were very unique and some of the best he had seen. I have a couple fotos I found in a book after years of searching. I know some of the originals are in Germany at a museum in Darmsadt and some in NYC Natural History Museum. He was my great grandfather (adopted) He lived and rode and surrendered with Crazy Horse, toured with Buff Bill, and came back and ''started'' the Porcupine District with Pahin...Pahin Sinte means ''Porcupine Tail" later they dropped the ''Tail'' Any fotos or info would be great. I have fotos of Sinte, but very interested in his ledger art. i will try to attach a foto of Sinte if i can figure out how Wopila!! nope. how do i add an image?? |

I'll quote myself from a recent email to another poster: Any photo you want to post must have a web address. If you use an online service to store photos or have access to a server, you should be able to get an address for your photos (such as photos.com/yourphotoname.jpg). You would then put that address in your message, highlight it, and click the fourth button from the left on the bottom row of the menu items in the message box, the one that looks like a little painting or photo. That will place image tags on either end of the photo address, which allows the photo to be seen by everyone. If the photo is huge, forcing people to scroll horizontally, please be aware that I may go in and modify it so that it fits the screen without scrolling.
If you don't have a web address for your photos, feel free to send them to me for posting. I will put them on my server, go into your message, and place the photo. You'll see an edit memo at the bottom of your message, showing that I've modified it with the photo. I won't change anything else.  Just be sure to tell me which board and thread it goes in; for example, Little Bighorn forum-Northern Plains Indians/Marcellas Red Tomahawk or Indians forum-Cheyenne/Stone Calf.
