Dietmar, excellent resource! Thanks for pointing it out. On page 4, the Court-Martial of 1877 judges, are they the ones who sat in judgement of Reynolds?

I think you are right. Colonel Reynolds was in January 1877 tried by a General court martial at Cheyenne, found guilty and sentenced to suspension from rank
and command for one year. I found another photo with an inscription that also states that this court was convened in January 1877.
