Since when has the "Little Big Horn Associates" (LBHA) turned into the "Little Bighorn History Alliance" (LBHA)? Is this something new?

Its listed at the main forum homepage just above the forum topics under a heading called NEWS near the top of the page. This seems to be quite new as I have not noticed it before.

For what it's worth, I was wondering about this too. It seems to have been up for about a week. Not a bad name, at all; but it'd be nice to know how it came about!

It's no great mystery, ladies. I changed it to be more inclusive. In other words, anyone interested in Little Bighorn history is welcome, not just the pro-Custer crowd that is widely associated with the Little Big Horn Associates. It also gets rid of the two-word Big Horn, which is a nuisance.
As the disclaimer at the top of Custeriana Queries says, the boards -- and everyone posting on them, including me -- don't speak for the Little Big Horn Associates. I put that up years ago when it was suggested that I should approve every message before it was posted so that a certain person wouldn't go crazy over the discussion about the supposed photo of Crazy Horse. Message approval would have killed these boards long ago.
Also, one visitor recently read CSS' nonsense and threatened not to renew his membership because of the "vile" people on the boards, so I've been considering the name change for a while. The wiki has also been changed.

As a reincarnation of Belle Boyd, I am rather surprised you didn't plump for "Little Bighorn Confederacy", you li'l old Southern Beauty you, especially as the web site has seceded. Whatever its called and frankly, my dear...we should not lose sight of the battles that need to be fought.
