On Saturday, June 23rd, a group gathered on Weir point to honor our friend, Corky Reed, and to scatter his ashes. Eight traveled from California, and six of those in the photo were also Brothers from the SUVCW. We were also honored to be joined by Corky's friend (and LBH Ranger/Historian), John Doerner. After everyone shared their memories, John left the guidon on the summit, as we bid farewell to our friend. Godspeed, our friend, until we meet again at fiddler's green..

Thanks so much for sharing those photos. Corky loved all of his friends, but I think he would be particularly pleased that John Doerner made the effort to get up there.
As I've told you before, coehornboy, we should all be so lucky to have a friend like you!
