Jenny let me know she found a mention of Billy's death. I didn't want to believe it, but the obituary makes it clear it definitely was the Billy Markland who lit up these pages for so many years with his knowledge and wit. It seems Chuck and I lose or hear of a terrible illness for someone we care about every week. This part of life is not fun.

I don't recall ever meeting Billy, but I do know the name, not sure if he had ceased posting when I joined (around 12 years ago).
We have lost many a fine poster, Carl, Fred and even dark cloud (the dark lord) to name few.
My condolences to his family for their loss.
