All my messages and posts are gone. well no way to view my post list before a month or so ago. Admittedly I'm a cheapskate and don't contribute to any site that's more then $25 or so for a year. Especially one as disjointed as this one gets, cumbersome and hard to find thread locations for me.

I think you weren't as I'm the only one who could do that (and I didn't).
I saw seven activities on your account since March 31. One was an upgrade to ProBoards Version 5.
No one needs to upgrade or pay for anything on this site. It is free to all.
If you made earlier posts, they must have been under another user name.
