I hope everyone gets to retain their scalps in the new year.
Well, almost everyone.

I seldom if ever watch college football, but circumstances forced me into watching two on New Year's Eve and then a couple more on New Year's Day. By far, the most entertaining team to watch was Ole Miss. Not even close for any other, with the possible exception of watching Alabama's defensive unit. Ole Miss was just great fun to watch. I can say I actually enjoyed those kids. Go Ole Miss!!!
Best wishes, Fred.

I played college football, and do not watch it now.
I have issues with college coaches getting nine million a year, while the players get nothing.
I would be happy to see a law passed forbidding any coach from receiving more money than an instructor. Any school that does that should immediately lose the ability to issue diplomas; plus all federal and state funding. I was a four sport athlete in college, but only 3 varsity sweaters. Rugby was not recognized as a sport by the Ivy League.
I do not think we played Georgetown in anything. I wrestled a Georgetown guy in a tournament, but do not think we had a formal match. Ohhh, and that tournament was at Gettysburg.
Happy New Year to everyone.
My hope is we learn to treat one another wit dignity and respect in 2016. Hate the post, not the poster.

I know exactly what you mean Will, we have footballers (soccer players) over here that are on £200.000 a week, now David Cameron (our prime minister and glorious leader) earns less than £150.000 a year, which I find incredible, plus these over paid sportsmen get their cash from the man in the street who only dream about earning around £15-20.000 per year.
I always agree with your last line.
Ian.
