From Associate Sandy Alexander:
My husband, Steve Alexander of Monroe, Michigan, was requested to participate in the Inaugural Parade for Pres. Bush. Needless to say he agreed. He will leave here on the 19th to appear as General Custer on behalf of North Dakota at interviews, etc. and appear in the parade the following day. They are planning on him bringing his parade attire and his dress uniform to be ready for formal events, as well.

Congratulations Steve, just remember Not to pick on the Presidents brother Jeb. It happened in the past with G.A.C. & Grant and the outcome wasn't too pleasant!

Saw great coverage on C-Span. But Steve and his float were on maybe two seconds. I was hoping for longer so I could tape it. but by the time the tape started recording he was long gone!

Hi, John!
Sandy switched to CNN and sent them an e-mail, requesting that they show the North Dakota float. She soon got an answer, something like "We aim to please," and suddenly Sandy saw Steve saluting the President and tipping his hat to the First Lady. Unfortunately, I was watching C-Span also, so I missed the whole thing, but I am hoping to get a tape of it from Sandy.
I promised Sandy that I would never trash-talk CNN again!
