So if Terry and the gang all come up TC. They are east of the village, and if seen it will be exit stage west for the village. If they are to attack the village:- The village has been sited so that following their trail in, as Reno did, places various terrain features in your way. The entry from the east via Ford B requires a crossing at their doorstep where they have all their manpower. An attack from further north must cross the river at Ford D (Sioux ford). IF you had all the gang there how do you mount an attack in a timely manner? Cheers Mac,
Terry still crosses the divide north of the village, but not over the poor terrain much further to the north across to the BH and which he did on the 25th. That gives him 4 infantry companies, 5 cavalry companies, and Gatling guns to block flight northwards down the lower LBH.
If GAC still slugs it out alone on the 25th, Brisbin is much closer if the right wing has to flee Battle Ridge. Obviously that still requires Keogh to recognise the danger....

Unless Terry can co-ordinate an attack plan with GAC then the Indians would have to defend an area from the valley, along the eastern side of the river and north, if Custer arrives before Terry and with no plan formulated and employs the same tactics as he did on the 25th then Terry could arrive and find the 7th on the verge of collapse, so would the mission then change from destroying the village to rescuing the 7th?

Another shot at a map. It takes a little work, but you can find Tullock's Creek, Montana. You can also change style of map, you will however click left/right up/down on map border to move to adjacent areas.
