Are you blind? That sharp point is obviously a building, possibly by Phillip Johnson, that was built as a DNA repository for UFO biologic and robotic data accumulated when Custer was covering the escape of the mothership and then Elvis and ...........wait......wait, I have it.......then Godzilla and Elvis........
It's true. Nothing can be said more ridiculous than these posts by herosrest, apparently undergoing a Peretz Hilton period with the factual ballast of a 60ish, 250 pound female in period correct costume paying tribute to war dead quoting alternately from Little Big Man and any Custer book printed in the last decade.
I suppose it could be viewed as offensive except it stands as effective evidence to push him into a chronic bin somewhere, preferably a re-opened Shutter Island.
It's hard to tell if he believes his gibberish, but it certainly stands as a great illustrative example of what even common technology in the wrong hands can do.

I am interested in obtaining information about and copies of photos of "where Sitting Bull prayed." Any help is appreciated. Thanks...

Hi Paladin, I'll dig out the url for the prayer site. Whether it is LBB bluffs or Standing Rock arrest can be argued. It looks much like LBH.
The Sharp dip terrain feature is in the color picture, there are numerous reerences to soldiers running up ravines as well as running down them and at rear of those areas, the reverse of the slope, river side are markers for known warrior deaths. Where ever, did the idea occur, that an entire battalion sat on or marched over Nye-Cartwright Ridge? 3 fifths of the strike force?............ hmmmm. Movement along the spurs of Deep Ravine can not be viewed from the river or MTC.

Paladin, the images are here - photoswest.org/collect.htm - amongst the Barry collection. A search for SB on the site should hit the pics, took me a while to track down where l ran into them. l had a jumble of research on them but the hard and files went belly up.
There's a plethora of Barry stuff and much else, set some time aside.
Barry was post LBH but............ that doesn't mean the shot isn't made at Greasy Grass. l didn't realise anything about the picture other than that the peak of rocks at top of the bluffs looked familiar. I reckon it may be the same feature shown in an E.S. Curtis shot of the three Crow Scouts on the bluffs. That doesn't tie up with 'One Bull' though whose record of SB's prayer on 24th June places him at the monument. Enjoy the pics. Regards
