This is the photograph of a "lightly-armed" Hussar. Wait until you get a load of the Heavy Dragoons!!!!!

Good pic Steve. Looks like you bagged a trophy cat in the background.

The picture was at our Raymond Ranch where we have buffalo. The CAT helped maintain the 10 mile road from I-40 to Headquarters. There may have been times when it should have been bagged. We have used that picture in our rifle school PowerPoint presentation for new officers. I believe it says I'm Your Huckleberry on the slide.

Steve, it’s the perfect picture. Dead solid perfect.
That's exactly what I want to see in a lawman, as long as I'm standing safely behind him.

I've never seen a horse in camouflage fatigues before!

Casey was a Leopard Appaloosa. He passed away a few years ago. He was the horse everyone dreams of as far as behavior. He made me think I was a good horseman. John taught me the difference and I have been learning ever since.

Steve, Not to jump subject but the horses reminded me that a lady friend of mine out in your neck of the woods by the name of Vicki Fox used to manage the wild mustangs program for the NPS and maybe you know her.

Casey looks like he had a sweet disposition. I'm sorry he is gone, Ranger.

Casey looks like he had a sweet disposition. I'm sorry he is gone, Ranger. Some animals you miss more than others. He was bomb proof and dead broke. Casey was not afraid of anything unless I was. He would stand still in a narrow trail as a mountain bike approached. If a dog came at us he would charge if I wanted him to. At close range his head would lower. We never had a dog get past that point without running away. He would check licenses with me. I would hold them up and he would look at them. Hunters enjoyed him. One day I left his headstall at home and rode him with his halter. AZ Ranger
