Does anyone else find it difficult to use the little pop down box to maneuver from one page to another in these threads? The dratted thing seems to pop off at the slightest misplacement of the cursor, leaving me finally, after 15 or 20 failed attempts, to enter the desired page number into the white box and then click go or whatever it says. Quite an irritation for a man of a certain age! Perhaps there's a trick?
My next post will be on the dissatisfaction of being hung with a new rope.
Yours,
Mike Powell

Yours, Mike Powell If you don't want to use a new rope on yourself, I may be able to volunteer my far, far western Kansas friend into breaking it in for you. And yes, the next page drop downs do suck wind. Billy

One fix would be for the moderator/aka Diane to increase the post size of each page from 10 to 25 or more. 50 wouldn't hurt as long as everyone's bandwidth will handle it. I use the 25 previous posts to do my viewing and sometimes that can be filled up in a busy day and then I miss anything before that so I'd be for increasing that size also.

Aye, it is a bother, mostly because using the page number on the thread heading usually doesn't work. I have now started clicking on the last post for the thread, which at least gets me to the last page.

damp rivers, hell; They're bone dry cause Colorado has been stealing all our water. Guns are now legal for the vigilance committee set up to get or water back.
Kansas, at least our pro football coach hasn't been fired, yet anyway. (hehe) Adios, Shanahan, great coach but some of the management duties needed to be shared.

One thing about longer pages is that when a map is posted, it won't disappear into the neer land of lost pagination so quickly that it becomes impossible to find one day later.

I agree. The page box is very irritating. When you click on a thread from the board menu, you will be taken to the last page. If you want to go back a page, the little arrows work well. If you want to go back farther, putting the page number in is best.
The boards are now set to show 15 posts per page. I can, with one little click, expand it to as many as 30 per page. I'm willing to do that, but anyone who has bookmarked a certain page is going to have problems. Also, when you click on a thread, you will have to scroll a lot more to get to the bottom of the page to see the newest comment.
I'll leave it to you all to decide. Cast your vote!

I always delete the last page number and enter the number I want. It doesn't work first time but always does second time. Quicker than using the pop-down box.
