Has anyone heard of this warrior? His name translates as Hawk That Walks And Hunts Like A Man. I found his name by chance and wondered about him. He was Lakota but I don't know which band. There is a sculpture on the keystone of the Library of Congress building which is said to be either him or Rain-In-The-Face. There was a Hawk Man killed on Reno Hill. He was Sans-Arc but I don't know if there is a connection. Any information would be appreciated.

The Longbrake's are directly related to Hawk Man. This warrior and Hawk Man are not the same.

There is a novel called 'No Survivors' by Will Henry that features a character named 'Cetan Mani', however Henry's creation is a white man who joins the Lakota after the Civil War and fights at Little Bighorn. It's a good novel, but I'm sure it has nothing to do with the real Lakota you are looking for.
