Hi all I am doing some research about some book authors because I am getting mixed messages Here are the authors:
Mary Summer Rain Lynn Andrews
They seem to be listed as new age frauds. Personally I love the books by Mary Summer Rain and was wondering if anyone else has read them.

I'm afraid they ARE new age. Perhpas 'fraud' is too strong a word, but the Indian people take a dim view of their spirituality being massaged into a new religion. But if you loved them, you probably gained something from reading them and that's not necessarily a bad thing.

If only people had souls than, heaven void of all nature would be quite boring.

People are looking for a belief that is geared toward an earth way and they hunger for a more complete connection to the natural things around us. People like myself who have studied culture find Native American belief as we know them are harmonious with the natural world. We may be of other cultures yet we yearn for some connection in our past. I am white yet my soul has no connection to the mother lands in the east and find no spiritual outlet there. The more that is known about the ways of Native American spiritual beliefs the more it will feed the void that are in peoples lives. I am white yet my life and spirit walks more in a Native belief at least as much as I know it. I only wish that we could be part if only spiritually in learning. We can choose to go to all sorts of churches and other forms of religions but why is there no place for Native worship? People would benefit greatly with the connection to those beliefs. We are destroying our world for profits and we need a voice to speak for Nature.
