I wanted to applaud Eric Wittenburg for his forthcoming book One Continuous Fight with co-authors David Petruzzi and Michael Nugent. the book concerns the cavalry actions after the Gettysburg battle (Lee's retreat).
Nugent is a retired Cavalry officer. This is just the sort of collaborations we need to see more of in military history...history authors combining with military specialists to produce superior analysis of historical events.
