All--
At 12.34, today, June 9, 2007 (one day before my Shi's 107th birthday), I finished my novel, The Russian Diplomat's Daughter: A Novel About George Armstrong Custer. It will still be a bit until it can be purchased, but I can die knowing my life is complete!
All thanks are given to my husband, Phillip.

Perry Baker often spoke of your novel. Now he can rest in peace.

Tricia, Congratulations! That you were able to finish your novel in spite of all you've been through is such a credit to you! It will be something to look forward to! Best of luck.

Melani! Are you back from England? Yes, and almost back from LBH. Tricia was kind enough to let me read the first chapter, and now I will be going nuts until it is published. I love it!

Melani--
Thanks for the compliment! Yep, only twenty seven chapters left for you to read ... hope you got plenty of photos on Tuesday. Man, I so hated leaving ... and wouldn't you know? My bag was overweight! Gotta stop buying those books.
