AAAARRRR!
Shiver me timbers! It's talk like a pirate day again.
It also be 'Loud Shirt Day' and 'Nude Day' today.
Loud shirts for everyone, but nude day only among consenting pirates.

Now you've got me missing Trish again, Michael. Couldn't we just stick to politics?

Yeah, probably a bad idea. Sorry, Gordie. I thought it would revive, maybe, some of the fun times, and yes, I miss her and others as well.
HOWEVER - the problems that discussing contemporary politics have are:
1. Nobody will EVER completely agree with anything. 2. People will endlessly chase each other around in circles when examining and comparing facts. 3. Most are unwilling to change opinions while only a small few will move back and forth on opinions held. 4. The actual plans or agendas of personalities under discussion are vague. 5. Some people become predictably angry, some unfairly derogatory, some cling to pre-conceived notions and still others can’t let go of Hollywood and comic book fantasies.
All, very out of character for threads on this board, and other boards’ dedicated to these same topics.

BS:
Yeah - we should obviously stick to GAC and LBH and AHT and FWB and MAR and TWC and GWY and MTC and MWK and the other initials, upon which we all agree all of the time, and the study and research of whom and which [or the reading about, as some would say], results in a forum wherein none of your five points noted above can possibly find a foothold.
