Great Shots Bubba. That is a real Icon of the West. I have never been to Nebraska. If I ever get to go there, this is one thing I want to see! Thanks

Lawtona, et al, next year's LBHA national seminar will be in North Platte, Ne. On my way to Rapid City last year, I visited North Platte, home of the WWII-famous Cantina, which is an amazing story all by itself. If y'all go to the seminar next year, you can take state highway 26, which follows the N. Platte River, and you'll see such sites as Chimney Rock, Scotts Bluff, and if you go another, maybe another 40 miles???, you'll pass the marker denoting the Grattan "massacre," the site of the Horse Creek-Ft. Laramie treaty, and, finally, Ft. Laramie. And just a little further and you can see Register Cliff and the famous Oregon Trail ruts in Guernsey in Wyoming. I think all these sights can be seen on a fairly long daytrip from North Platte. Talk about following the footsteps of history, this ride is it.
