No trip to South Dakota is complete without a stop at Wall Drug! The dining room tables at Wall Drug are real marble. The dining room walls are finished with American black walnut paneling. Hustead and I sat near four statues of Indian chiefs who were in the Battle of Little Big Horn. The statues are made out of 100-year-old cedar trees. Laurie and I regularly stop at Wall Drug on our way to Deadwood. It should be mentioned that Wall Drug has a bookstore with a lot of old west history in it. The town of Wall is also home to the 'Wounded Knee' museum.
On a different note the gas prices in Wall tend to be high but there isn't much in the way of gas station for 40 miles either way along I-90.
