Nobody's mentioned yet the Custer House in Elizabethtown, KY., actually the "Brown-Pusey House" where the Custer's stayed during their KKK-supressing and horse-hunting tour in the 1870's... www.touretown.com/brownpuseyhouse.shtmlNot much there, but to walk into the house where the Custer's entertained is a nice feel. It's right off I-65 as you go north or south through Kentucky and Louisville (E-town is 45min. south of L'ville). Won't take more than 30-min. off your trip if you Google map the location right to it. "Aside from Pusey memorabilia, the Museum contains other historically significant items such as an original picture of General Custer, which is signed and dated by Mrs. Custer." Limited hours it is open, so check ahead first. The ladies there will be glad to fill you in on all the local E-town Custer gossip! Clair
