No, I haven't heard of her before but, assuming her portrayals are accurate, she would be an interesting speaker for the 2009 LBHA conference, which sounds like it's going to be somewhere in the Dakotas.

She should consider expanding her repertoire to include Eliza Brown and Mary Adams.

Keogh or anyone-
Noticed that Ms. Jefferson does in fact do a portrayal of a Mary Kercherval, 'cook and personal attendent to the Custers'.
Can't keep all the Marys/Marias straight in my head. Is that another name that Mary Adams went by at some time?

P.S. Keogh -
Sounds like she might be fun to have participate at the LBH reenactment camp. She's definitely into the 'living history' thing big time and might just do it for the fun since she a 'local'.
You and/or your friends in that venue might be interested - and maybe JUST maybe Ms. Jefferson might actually be a good camp cook!

M We would be very happy to have Miss Jefferson come to our Camp Garryowen next summer as our own Mary Adams. We could have her tell about the private conversation she overheard between GAC and Gen. Terry the night before the battle and her later dealings with Gen. Miles. As for me, I will be happy having a chance to sample some of her homestyle camp cooking!
