Eric Von Schmidt Hospitalised

I'm probably the last to know this, but there is a headline banner at the Friends' site about Eric, who is best known as the painter of Here Fell Custer. Apparently he was brought to the hospital by his daughter around August 18th and tests revealed he had suffered a stroke.
