short buffalo brother of he dog said this :I have seen two photographs of Crazy Horse that I think one showed him on a buckskin horse he owned, one on a roan. I think they were really him, both showing him on horseback. I have seen a third photograph that I am sure was he because it showed him on the pinto horse he rode in the Custer fight. I could not possibly make a mistake about that horse and nobody rode it but Crazy Horse.
i think i saw that third photograph in a book , it was from far distance on the pinto , a small indian but probably a bit too dark to be crazy horse , anyway the question in this does anybody has an idea of the book that has that photo ? i have searched in all my books but i didn't find it , i thought it was in a german book but it wasn't there ,

There is only one photo of Crazy Horse that most feel is him and that is the tin-type photo showing him standing in his "Sunday Best" clothes, and some say there is even a scar under his nose where No Water's bullet wounded him. That is the most likely photo, if any, that could be of him.
Still, Crazy Horse had made it clear that he did not want his photo taken and even a white doctor named McGuillicuddy who befriended CH doubted he would ever have his photo taken.
