I am trying to identify the Cheyenne listed as killed at LBH on the Indian Memorial at LBH versus the records shown on this website and others. Is the following correct?
1. Black Bear was also known as Closed Hand; they are the same person, so there is a duplicate listing on the Memorial. The Suicide Boy marker near the Indian Memorial lists him as Closed Hand. Another name for the same person is Young Bear.
2. Flying By is the same warrior as Limber Bones; therefore, there is a duplicate listing for him on the Memorial.
3. Left Hand is the same Suicide Boy as Noisy Walking; therefore, there is a duplicate listing for him on the Memorial. His marker near the Stone House lists him as Noisy Walking.
4. Black Coyote, Roman Nose, and Hump Nose are the same man, and he is listed as three separate killed warriors on the Indian Memorial.
5. Little Whirlwind is the same Suicide Boy as Swift Cloud; therefore, he is listed twice on the Indian Memorial. The marker near Reno-Benteen lists him as Little Whirlwind.
