Hi. I am new to the site and would like to start a topic about Black Shawl. If anyone could tell me what happened to her after Crazy Horse death? I know that she died in the 1920's at Pine Ridge. I would like any inforation about where she lived or relatives any help will be appreciated.

Hello!

Black Shawl died ca. 1927 at age 84, apparently a victim of influenza which swept the reservations in the 1920s. (Hardorff)

She perhaps followed Worm to Rosebud Agency in fall 1877 or stayed with her brother Red Feather.
