I am trying to find out information on Sergeant Arthur Stocks who was on a relief mission at Little Big Horn the day after the battle . He was from Madison, Tenn. Any idea where I can look?

subject: Sgt. Arthur Stocks, Madison, TN. There is no Sgt. Arthur Stocks listed on any roster in regard to the battle of the LBH...could he have enlisted under a different name? Did he claim to have survived the battle? would like to know more about his story..can you tell me what you know about his claim?.......is he buried in Madison, Tn.? There is no Madison, Tn., is it Madisonville?

I just found this(but he could not be him, as he was 21 in the great war ARTHUR STOCKS Private 3513, 8th Sherwood Foresters. Aged 21. Buried at shireoaks st luke even a painter called arthur stock, but not a sergeant...
