My great grandfather's nephew was William J. Randall, Private, Company D at the LBH fight. Can anybody refer me to where I can get information on him? I know He was in Capt. Weir's company and was killed later at Bear Paw mountain, Montana. fighting Chief Joseph.
I assume he was one of the "unknowns" and there may not be much info available on his service with the 7th Cavalry. Any help or pointers would be appreciated. AlanF
