Let's put an end to this canard. Lincoln was shot at the Ford!

Kennedy was shot in a Lincoln.
Jesse James was shot by Bob and Charlie Ford, or Ford, B and Ford, C.
James Dean crashed in a Porsche 550 Spyder while being followed by friends in his Ford (Country Squire station wagon), but he actually died in an ambulance that was possibly a Cadillac.
Mary Joe Kopeckny died in an Oldsmobile - but that has never been fully explained.
I don't know what Grace Kelly died in, but I have heard that Ted Kennedy's brief case was found in the back seat of the car.
I hope this clears it up once and for all.

Evidently, everyone uses the Terry report that a trail (no doubt made by a large group of shoed cavalry horses) was made towards MTC. We all know that the horses were stampeded by the indians. My suggestion is that the bulk of these were companies E & F horses and the logical direction would be towards water. That conjecture would mean that no attempt to cross there was actually made! Therefore Custer could not have been unhorsed at the river. I can't recall where I read this but it seems that Benteen mentions some 70 dead horses counted on the Battlefield with very few gray's (E co Horses). Maybe I'm wrong, maybe not!

The last line of your post sums up what all posters here should be saying. Conjecture reigns supreme at times.

One to the person who said Tom wouldn’t of dragged GC higher on ridge and would be found by Keogh. Also Keogh would of never allowed Tom to take over. If George was shot at river he was ahead of everybody. Rather than few and I can promise Tom would of been In shock and guarantee he’s running to GC and taking him to safety where ever he wants. That’s his brother and no one is going to tell him that. Plus maybe Keogh stayed up there to watch and make sure they got George out of there. Maybe he was shot hurt but not totally gone. I’ve heard some say the shoulder wound wouldn’t of killed him right away. George hurt and alive is still going for the Indians. Imagine the hero he would be. Once they got to MTC imo the only way to win was get in the village and grab hostages. Yes I know they only had 80 people. Have one person grab one person and that’s 80 hostages as a wall

He could have been shot but not a death wound and could still go on. Keogh could of taken over and made sure they got Custer to safety but was hit unexpectedly. So many reasons it could be. But Custer Ammo was found on last stand Hill. Yes because Tom I’m sure would leave the best equipment maybe in the 7th so the indians can have them. I just find it weird the Cherokee have a different opinion of Ford b than Sioux. Maybe because Sioux didn’t see the first part because they were by Reno. I also think it’s weird Curley, Thompson, Pretty Shield ,White Bull and few others all talk about similar stuff at Ford. Plus after that no one seen custer again from that point
