From a website visitor: Can you tell me if it is known if any of the 7th cavalry at the Little Big Horn used the Colt 45 handgun often refered to as the ALASKAN or PHILIPPINE MODEL?

I believe that both those models were introduced in 1878. That being the case, I would venture to guess that NOBODY had one at the LBH!!!

Diane, Oh, I do believe in time travel, but if that was the case, I'm sure GAC would have brought back a few RPG's and "Mini-Guns" AND maybe even a tactical nuclear shell, or two!?!? What's with your Avatar??? Did you get a haircut? ?
