Tsk, tsk, tsk...Paul, I thought you would have grown up by now! Sabers? For crying out loud, next thing you know you will be asserting that the Spencer carbine won Gettysburg. Billy

Billy Wait, isn't this the same guy who thinks the Custer battalion, being armed as it was, MUST have killed over a thousand warriors?

That's my guess Crab. But that and a buck might get you a cup of cheap coffee.
Somewhere around here Steve Wilks wrote about how hard it was for him to handle a period saber. Do you know where it is?

What a bunch of dummies! It is a laugh reading the stupidity and the dumb assed broad runnung it! Ha, Ha Hah!
Bite You: You obviously need to use the Spell Check. That's the little button between "Preview" and "Reset." You also need a lot of help with your sentence structure. I'm sure they have a GED program for you in the Sacramento area.

Apologies to all for starting a thread that's drawn this sort of response. Diane, as far as I'm concerned please feel free to delete the entire thread if that's what it takes.

Elisabeth, just my two-cents worth, but anytime we start a thread, we run the risk of having trolls attempting to trash the conversation; so, your apology is not warranted. You started this thread in good faith so why apologize?

The problem definitely is not the thread, but the trolls who like to hit and run. And I still say its quite humorous that their posts usually are about how we're stupid. We're not the ones who spend our days posting useless drivel under anonymous names trying to get a rise out of people.

Freedom of Speech!
People should be allowed to say what they want . . . if you give them enough rope they will hang themselves!

Actually, message boards that accomodate trolls are serving a social purpose. They would otherwise be haunting schoolyards to flash little girls---if they had anything to flash.

Elisabeth -- I agree with Billy; please don't apologize. I don't care what the coward says about me.

Thanks! I was just afraid I'd inadvertently hit a subject that had triggered him off. But who knows how trolls' minds work.

Thanks! I was just afraid I'd inadvertently hit a subject that had triggered him off. But who knows how trolls' minds work. Elisabeth, he probably has some inner anger against someone, likely his mother for tying the bone around his neck with a slipknot, so that the dogs would play with him, that he has to overcome. But, with diligence, he hopefully will become a winner at: www.darwinawards.comTongue firmly in cheek (and proper sentence-structure charging towards the bluffs), Billy

Billy--
Although technically correct, the word "toward" is the accepted American usage of the word. "Towards" is used mostly in Britain (though I prefer it) Hehehe ... gotcha!
