I remember reading a book from my public library when I was a kid that was about a British submarine in the sea of Marmara. I don't remember the name, but assume this is speaking of the same sub and commander. This article makes no mention of it, but I seem to remember that the sub that I read about also launched some sort of landing party commando raid against a railroad.

Several submarines attacked railroad infrastructure. One even sent a party ashore and they blew up a railway bridge!

WO What a tremendous man he was! It always amazes me that we find men like Nasmith in the darkest of hours to serve their countries. The part about swimming out to secure the missed torpedeos was incredible. The segment a about the coming Queen Elizabeth carriers was very interesting.
