Happy Anniversary USA, all in all you haven't done a bad job at looking after the place, we do keep our eye on you to make sure you are not straying too much off course, apart from the language barrier, we are pretty close (even though you once sided with the French).
Ian.

Ian: You have something to celebrate in the UK too today. The largest warship ever to be built in Great Britain is to be launched today.
So on our Independance Day let me say to you God Bless the Queen, the ship that bears her name, and all that sail in her.

Why thank you Chuck, I saw the Aircraft Carrier on the news this morning, here is what the “beeb” say about the launch; linkThe weather looks a lot better in Scotland then it does around here, it’s been a dreadful day, which is a good thing, as we don’t want our dear old Liz to get wet and catch a cold. Just a side note on Anniversaries, The Scottish celebrated the Battle of Bannockburn the other week, actually they make a great deal about it every year, but year this being the 700th time, they have decided to go the full hog, you cannot blame them though, the times they beat the English were few and far between, imagine if we did the same and celebrated the anniversary of every victory over the Jocks, the year would be one long party. Ian.
