 Found it while searching for pics of Bloody Knife. There is no question that this is indeed the exact spot from which the original photo was taken. The lack of change in the rock is almost eerie. |

In 2007, my daughter and I made a trip to the Black Hills with the "Exploring With Custer" book with the idea of taking our own pictures. One of the coolest things I've ever done, we had a blast... Katie "Exploring With Custer"  Wagon Train in Castle Creek Valley from the book:  July 2007  Up on top of the rock; our Dodge Grand Caravan is the dot on the road to the left of me  By the same trees in the original  View of the rocks from the valley  |
