In case you're in the neighborhood . . . . CROW AGENCY - On Thursday, the Little Bighorn Battlefield will host an open house. Entrance to the battlefield will be free from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
In addition to the open house, there will be a 15 percent discount on all items in the visitor center bookstore. Refreshments will be served courtesy of Western National Parks Association.
Winter hours are still in effect. The visitor center is open from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. daily. The self-guiding tour road to the Reno-Benteen Battlefield is open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Custer National Cemetery hours are commensurate with the visitor center. The 20-minute orientation DVD, titled "Their Shots Quit Coming," will be shown in the visitor center upon request. Federal recreation passports are honored and available for sale at regular cost.
