Oh brilliant Diane...you know it has taken me almost a year to get that information, I should have looked you guys up sooner.
What I would have given to be there to hear what they talked about...the sadness knowing that less than a year later most of them would be dead, tragic

Okay, Diane, that was pretty simultaneous, but I guess you type faster than I do. My source is Glory Hunter.

Toddy--
You're quite right; it's a great photo. I don't know what it is about Keogh's pose above, but it has always intrigued me; he's the only one looking directly at the camera. The image is also another fine example of the inability/unwillingness of GAC to stand upright (so we can better gauge his actual height) ... and is one of the Wadsworth girls wearing TWC's MOHs? The are both--I believe--wearing the same costumes as in a parlour shot at FAL ...
Welcome to the board! Great to see another Aussie participant. --t.

He's a bit out of frame [as we photographers say], being back at Fort Rice, sweating over the barbecue pit.

Tricia, I do believe you're right about the medals. Had never noticed that before. Looks as if he and Cooke had sorted out which Wadsworth girl was whose by the time this was taken, then ...
Yes, you could read a lot into the body-language here. Custer turning away from Libbie, Keogh looking almost proprietorial ... Tempting to get carried away, isn't it!
Welcome, Toddy.

I always get a kick out of Libby in that hunt cap. First time I saw it was on Rosanna Arquette in SOMS and thought it odd, then saw this photo and knew where the costume decision came from. Tally ho!
