This is what remains of Fort Rice on the Missouri River in North Dakota. Portions of the 7th Cavalry were stationed here before the entire unit was assembled at Fort Abraham Lincoln for the Sioux Campaign
Other than a flag pole marking the center of the Parade, a few depressions and foundations, this old hand pump is about all that survives.
