I have started a wiki for our biography project which can be accessed at www.seedwiki.com/wiki/lbha/lbha. I have added Ephriam's sample biography, and the rest is up to you! I chose seedwiki.com because it uses a text editor that is WYSIWYG and its icons are similar to those used in Microsoft Word. In other words, you do not need to know any HTML code to get the text editing effects you want. Have fun experimenting, but please keep in mind that our current goal is to produce a valuable resource of biographies of LBH eyewitnesses. I will "sticky" this post so that you will always be able to locate the web address for the wiki quickly. Enjoy! Diane

Diane--
Just a head's up. The address you posted does not connect directly with the LBHA wiki site (I believe this is due to the period you used at the end of your properly constructed sentence); but you can do a search on the page by typing in "lbha," and it will bring you to the correct place. This looks to be an interesting project, and I look forward to seeing it evolve.
That said, I volunteer to add a bio on Private Ignatz Stungewicz (C company).
Regards, Leyton McLean

Thanks, Leyton. I fixed it. I'm not sure why "lbha" has to be repeated twice, but the link in the top post and below should work now. www.seedwiki.com/wiki/lbha/lbha

Diane:
The only problem with the WIKI sight is once you log on to it . . . . you cannot return to lbha.org
Other than that it looks great!

Very good suggestion! I'll put links to the LBHA home page and to the boards on the Wiki.
Thanks, Oh Crazed One! Happy Friday!

You may have something there, Horse. I though it was short for WIKI-UP.

Actually, Crazy, you are correct. Wiki is the Hawaiian word for quick.
Where's Kaiulani when we need her? ;D

Diane:
Ah . . . I was being funny . . . apparently I'm right even when making a joke. I love myself!
WIKI:
Any collaborative website that users can easily modify via the web, typically without restriction. A wiki allows anyone, using a web browser, to edit, delete or modify content that has been placed on the site, including the work of other authors. This has been found to work surprisingly well since contributors tend to be more numerous and persistent than vandals and old versions of pages are always available.
Text is entered using a simple mark-up language which is then rendered as HTML. A feature common to many of the different implementations is that any word in mixed case LikeThis is automatically turned into a link to a page of that name, which may or may not exist (similar to the linking in this dictionary).
In contrast, a web log, typically authored by an individual, does not allow visitors to change the original posted material, only add comments.
wiki means "quick" in Hawaiian. The first wiki was created by Ward Cunningham in 1995.

And how did you know that?
Barbeque lamb is one of my favorites. And of course, Orthodox Easter was one HUGE PARTY at our house with roast lamb, feta cheese, spinakopita, and last but not least, Ouzo!!!

Are you Greek, Crazy? I love Greek food. One of my neighbors lived in Athens for several years, and she has a Greek feast a couple of times a year. Love it!
Fred, forget the Thai. Next time it's Greek!
