The long-awaited book from Sandy Barnard, Jim Brust and the late Brian Pohanka is out a week or so early, my copy shipped yesterday from Amazon and I can hardly wait to see it.
I spoke via email last night to Sandy and he has received a number of copies which I imagine he will take to this weekend's LBHA meeting in Ohio for sale, fresh off the press. Wish I was going. I will let you know how the book looks. Out of town next week so a work-realted road trip isn't the proper context to read and appreciate this book, it will have to wait until the week of Veteran's Day, appropriately enough.

John, thanks for the heads up. As a result of your post I checked my email for the first time in five or so days and B&N is shipping mine today. Looking forward to the read. Billy

Just got mine in the mail today. So far, it's an excellent read. An awful lot of pictures that I didn't even know existed, and I'm only on chapter 5 out of 16!!!

Only time to browse it and I am impressed. I didn't expect it to have as much text as it does. I will read it when I return from my trip next week as I don't want my reading time broken up by this road trip.

After six weeks on order Barnes & Noble was able to get one for me. Doug Sorry to hear that Doug. In the future remember to order your Custer books through Friends of the Little Bighorn's website. Folks who did had "Where Custer Fell" in their hands two weeks ago. www.friendslittlebighorn.com/wherecusterfell.htm
