Somebody for the love of God tell me... why is it that when they make these "Into The West" and "Bury My heart" style TV-series or even big budget Hollywood movies like Dances With Wolves and they have tons of experts telling about the details, they still get all the small things wrong... For example... I have personally waited to see before I die atleast one movie about Indians where the Indians dont have those massive Breshnev style eyebrows...but I guess I will die before that... Why they dont cover them with makeup or shave them or something or is it that they just dont care about the fact that Plains Indians didnt have any facial hair? Or am I first to ever noticed that?!! Its all the small details that are missed and exactly those details would be just the "thing" that makes the movie great and special and stand up. Just wondering... ;D Heres the link for the trailer of the HBO Mini TV series: www.hbo.com/films/burymyheart/index.html

Ya know Frank, I guess that is way too much to ask for. The military uniforms in Bury my Heart was just terrible. Not to mention the military verbiage being off. My favorite one...Gen. Miles commanding the artillery. "Artillery...fire, artillery reload..." I just don't get it when the special features CD braggs about how the film staff tried so hard to make this film accurate. Did they even consult a range of experts or just go off of one guys recommendation? O.K. let me get off of this soap box.

Well, as I've said before...I could care less if Hollywood ever makes another Indian Wars picture. They never get it right and I only get through 30 minutes of the damn things before I throw up my hands and turn the station. The Spielberg thing was down right embarrassing and God awful. What a waste of film!

As a follow up, I don't mind a movie so much if its just for entertainment and so presented . Its when they bragg about how much research went into making the movie authentic and then put out some of the mistakes that Bury displays.

Also be weary of the History Channel...they're clueless.
