Good evening, everyone.
I have not contributed to the Board for some time but am happy to check out the new posts. I arrived at the battlefield about two weeks ago and will be here for the next four months on a temporary detail as the acting superintendent. I am very excited to be here and look forward to engaging with all of you as we work on the new visitor center and exhibits. Lots of change coming to the Battlefield leading up to the grand commemoration in 2026! -- Ephriam D. Dickson III

i guess one of the things i can start with is my last contact with chuck merkle is that he was a major in the us army. at least that's my last remembrance. i have one brain cell and he gives me the bird every chance he gets

Its a forum Don, but you have made a good start with your last post (last message), so just continue to write just like that, you can also add photos if you have them stored on your computer.
