Can anyone tell me if the Henry Weibert ranch was BLM land? I know he and several others collected artifacts from his ranch. I have seen some items come up for sale over the years.

It was private land but within the Crow Reservation boundary. He had two ranches that I am familiar with—one up the south fork of Reno Creek and the other on Reno Creek. Regards AZ Ranger

He published a book about it (or maybe his daughter or other relatives?), and it was quite extensive. Does the family still own it or is it passed on to museums etc? All th best, Noggy

Thank you for the replies.
Forgive me for the ignorance. I have a question. So if I found an artifact on that land, being it is reservation land, it stays where I see it. Correct? I don't know much about the different types on reservation land ownership.

I also remember being in the back of an old truck, I think it was Hank's, as he took us up the hill to the Crows Nest. I do have an oil painting of the Crows Next painted by Ed Smyth (I think that is correct spelling). Plus dozens of books, one is signed by Libby Custer, and spurs from a spur maker in Monroe Michigan. My mother and step father spend several summers with Hank.
