I was sitting here last evening, reminiscing about a time when pain was not my everyday, and close companion, and it came to me. Admittedly, I am a bit slow...but I digress. I joined the U.S. Army about two weeks after graduating high school, many moons ago. More precisely, June 25, 1976. Exactly 100 years to the day of the Battle of the Little Bighorn. I served 3 years and was honorably discharged. But injuries incurred while I was in (from too many very rough parachute landings, including one pretty bad one) necessitated me getting out as my jumping days were done per my Doc. Regardless, a simply remarkable coincidence that I’m not smart enough to invent.

Well, I hope the pain is manageable; I know what it is like to have it constant. Fortunately-- for me-- I was never injured jumping from a plane. Then again, I merely qualified with no further jumps. Best wishes, Fred.
