According to an 1889 account the total of Dead at LBH [including both Reno and Custer Battlefields] total 266
Killed 14 Officers/240 soldiers; 3 Arikara Indian Scouts; 2 Surgeons +7 Civilians=266
Now not withstanding the discovering of remains years after the Battle {Trooper Mike (Nathan Short(?) amd Sgt Edwin Bobo
In the National Cemetery at LBH [Not last stand hill grave] Those killed June 25-26 1876
Reno Command lost Killed/Died of wounds: Known probably buried as Unknown [and or Identity not proved]
Custer Command lost Killed/Died of wounds Known probably buried as Unknown [and or identity not proven]
Of 14 killed officers: 1 Buried West Point {G.A.Custer] 1 buried LBH National Cemetery {Crittenden] 3 [Porter; Huntington; Stugis] died but identity not proven-probably buried at LAst Stand Hill 9 officer remains repraited
LAslty for the record..how many of the Reno Battlefield wounded were rescued..but died of wounds...9 of 55?
Feel free to correct above....
