Just a brief note to say hello and to wish all of you a very Merry, happy, and Holy Christmas... to each of you and all of those you love.
And if you do not celebrate Christmas as such, then I wish you the happiest of holidays, peace and prosperity...
... and may your thirst for a never-ending passion never be slaked.
My very best wishes to you all, newcomers and old timers... Merry Christmas, Fred.

Merry Christmas
I admit, I do not look at these boards any more. The North to South theory has a chance of being true, in the order of one chance in 50 trillion.
If rational thought, empiricism, return to this board, happy to come back.
Happy holidays.

OBOB or an off-by-one error is a logic error (bomb) involving the discrete equivalent of a boundary condition. It often occurs in computer programming when an iterative loop iterates one time too many or too few. The problem could arise when a programmer makes mistakes such as using "is less than or equal to" where "is less than" should have been used in a comparison, or fails to take into account that a sequence starts at zero rather than one (as with array indices in many languages). This can also occur in a mathematical context. The problem may have contributed to defeat at Little Bighorn and subsequent empirical study. The Wiki article is very well considered and cues Vitruvius - possibly the most important human, ever! (Enjoy) Unfortunately, Marcus Vitruvius Pollio did not have a clue about Christmas. It wasn't invented - The first recorded Christmas celebration was in Rome in 336. Not a lot of people know that, do they.

HR I have read your post above twice along with the sub leaf on Vitruvius and still find myself at a loss. Happy Christmas to you and your's. Regards David Zero counts as one in machine logic, it is an integer and therefore poorly constructed logical operands generate off by one errors. You might be griding up a map and find that everything plotted is off by one square, mile, yard or whatever. It is a potentially fatal error. In constructing logical argument the outcome should be broadly understood before specified (mathematical or computational) results are output. 0 1 2 3 4 5 = 6 Vitruvius provided information about Caesar's campaigns which is unique and fascinating. How did he know what he knew? He knew nothing of Christmas because it had not been invented. For the sake of brevity, Vitruvian Man. It's after dinner stuff and yet is the foundation of our modern World. A different take on Vitruvius is Vercingetorix and the brutalities of Roman(ticism). Parallels can be drawn with Manifest Destiny and the Plains uprising. Coffee break and after eight stuff and you most certainly do not need to appreciate it. Be well and Happy New Year.
