It includes a DVD and if you have ever heard Steve talk out on the deck of the visitor center this will seem familiar.

Well I just got off the phone with a real sweet lady named Kathryn Burke, with San Juan Publishing Group Inc. who helped me order my copy of Steve Adelson's book Little Big Horn, Voices from a Distant Wind. I do not have Pen Pal and she helped me use my credit card to order the book.
I look forward to securing my copy and reading Steve's sketches of the participants. The reviews are excellent and should add to my LBH knowledge and collection. Being recommended by both AZ Ranger and Tom Tubman speaks highly of the author.
Regards
Dave

I would think you will like that book. I know Steve and like him a lot. He is a good guy and knows his stuff. I am also in touch with the fellow who produced the video. Another really good guy.
Let us know what you think.
Best wishes, Fred.

What an idiot, it did not play well on the other board, so he decided to infect his thread.

Ducemus It was a very simple question, so take that rubbish out of your mouth. Answer a simple question or go inject yourself somewhere else. Who do you think you are?

The man receiving the award from the President is Joe Medicine Crow a noted Crow Warrior. During WW II he completed the necessary tasks to become a War Chief. He was born in 1913 and is and has been an articulate spokesman for the Crow Tribe and all Indians. He is a great American. Regards Dave

The award he received was the Presidential Medal of Freedom. He also was a Congressional Gold Medal nominee.

Just a li'l biased about White Man Runs Him though. Who is the gentleman at left with headdress?

I have been following links for ages for the identity of every one in the picture and have so far been unable to find their names.

HR, My rude post to you was probably uncalled for, as much as your dumping a picture in this thread abut a new book. If you were just looking for attention, which it seems, you got it. You know, full well, that picture had absolutely nothing to do with the book or writer.
